Forget Trump & Clinton, the best debate to watch for any alumni best practices professional was the one held at the Global Leader Summit at UCLA earlier this year.
The distinguished panel consisted of:
- Robert Curtis – Executive Vice President Graduway (moderator) :
Rob Curtis is responsible for Graduway’s Business Development covering strategic partnerships globally. Prior to Graduway, Rob worked in a number of senior roles at Cedar Dean, Davis Coffer Lyons and Fusion. Rob is an alum from King Solomon High School and Queen Mary & Westfield University.
- Sterly Wilder – Executive Director, Alumni Affairs at Duke University:
Sterly Wilder oversees Alumni engagement and programming and directs the Duke Office of Alumni Affairs. She also serves as secretary-treasurer of the Duke Alumni Association board of directors.
- Scott Mory – Vice President for University Advancement at Carnegie Mellon University:
Scott is responsible for overseeing the university’s overall advancement efforts and for building partnerships with all of CMU’s philanthropic and volunteer communities including university alumni, parents and friends; charitable foundations; and corporate donors.
- Lindsey Williams – Associate Dean, External Affairs at UCLA School of Law
Prior to joining UCLA Law, Lindsey Williams held a number of development positions at the University of Miami, where she worked for more than eight years. While at the University of Miami, she directed and executed comprehensive and strategic fundraising plans, led major gift, annual fund and campaign strategies and managed a team of development officers, among other responsibilities
- James Stofan – Vice President, Alumni Relations at Tulane University
James E. Stofan, Vice President of Alumni Relations at Tulane University, Stofan places a high priority on strengthening relationships with alumni volunteers because they are passionate about the institution, and they have a range of expertise they can lend.
